System theory, linear multivariable systems. Signal processing, optimal filtering. Identification of system and signal models from measured data. Optimal and robust control. Applications: identification of vibrating structures, vision-in-the loop control of vehicles, parametric spectral analysis of signals. Fault detection and isolation. Software design and development for solving control and identification problems.

  • Identification of vehicle (bus) models for suspension design. Ikarus Ltd., Hungary. 1987-1989.

  • Modeling and control design for tube rolling mills, Csepel Works, Hungary, 1977-1978.

  • Development of electrical energy demand forecast systems for the Hungarian Electrical Energy Board, 1989-1991.

  • Design and implementation of a vision - in - the - loop control system for avoiding unintended lane departures of heavy road vehicles. Principal investigator, Hungarian Academy of Sciences - Knorr Bremse Ltd., 1996-2000.

  • Design of fleet management systems for trucks (involving the use of GPS, GPRS systems and onboard navigation and control). Principal investigator, Hungarian Academy of Sciences - Knorr Bremse Ltd. - Technical University Budapest. 2000-2003.

  • Design and implementation of a Universal Test System for the new computer controlled nuclear reactor protection systems in Nuclear power Plant, Paks, Hungary.1996-2003.
